P.E.A.C.E. is a program designed for those experiencing various symptoms
as a result of abortion. P.E.A.C.E.
stands for Post-abortion Encouragement And Counseling Education. P.E.A.C.E. Ministry is the abortion recovery and
healing ministry of the Arms of Love Pregnancy Resource Center. Through this
ministry hope and healing is offered to women who have been wounded by
abortion and are in need of forgiveness. P.E.A.C.E. Ministry provides a safe and confidential
place for women to meet and share the pain associated with one or more past
abortions. Abortion often leaves women with a lot of negative
emotional, psychological and spiritual side effects. Post-Abortion Syndrome,
or Stress, (PAS) is a stress disorder that is commonly experienced by
long-term emotional disturbances and other common side effects that women
suffer following an elective abortion. PAS is used to describe a woman's inability to
process these painful thoughts and emotions, such as guilt, shame, grief,
anger and depression, which often arise from one or more unplanned
pregnancies and subsequent elective abortions. P.E.A.C.E. Ministry helps a woman to come to terms
with the negative feelings she is experiencing from her past abortion and
helps her grieve the loss of her baby. Because many women who have aborted are secretly
convinced that their abortion is unforgivable and that they are beyond the
reach of God's forgiveness, P.E.A.C.E. Ministry also helps a woman to come to
peace with God, herself and others involved in the pregnancy and abortion
decision. |

The P.E.A.C.E. Ministry offers free and confidential
counseling to anyone hurting from a past abortion in either a one on one
setting or in a small group format. We are a Christian Ministry and the word of God is
used as our primary means of healing. We offer a free 12 to 14 week Bible study support
and recovery group using the Forgiven and Set Free post-abortion Bible study
authored by Linda Cochrane. The small group usually numbers no more than 4 to
6 women including two trained peer-to-peer co-leaders. If you are experiencing pain from a past abortion,
please know that you are not alone and that we care about you and understand
your pain. Women, who have experienced abortion in their past
but who through the grace and mercy of God, are now forgiven and set free
founded this ministry! Please know that the feelings you are experiencing
are normal and many others like you share a similar secret shame from
